Harbour Edge Twins in Auckland

Thanks to Fearon Hay Architects, this old Auckland gem built in 1910 received the most luxurious update any coastline home could get.  Taking advantage of its breathtaking surroundings, this villa created a bridge between old and new, taking the outdoors in, or should we say the indoors out.

The kitchen opens up to the gorgeous landscape overlooking the water.  This kitchen is the one element that joined the two eras together creating a seamless transition between the old structure and new building.  The contemporary atmosphere marries modern living with its traditional counterpart, with smart and beautiful use of travertine, mouldings, rustic wood, leather, brass, and industrial pendants.
